In  1986 “General Engineering and Business Services” was established to provide various services to the local and foreign construction companies in Sri Lanka. First we started as a sub contractor to the Japanese Construction companies engaged in Canyon Hydro Power Project, Galle Harbor Dredging Project and Port of Colombo Expansion Projects in Sri Lanka.  The company earned reputation as a reliable and dedicated service providers as all woks were completed  within the given period to the satisfaction of the clients. They eventually become a service provider to some major projects in Macau, Taiwan, Thailand , Singapore and Japan.
        Today “General Engineering and Business Services” is one of the leading construction equipment rental  and leasing companies in Sri Lanka. In 1994 “General Engineering and Business Services (Pte) Ltd. was established to handle
        turn key projects and involved with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunication construction works.
        We have expanded our activities and commenced trading companies namely “GEBSTrading Company” , “GEBS Trading Co.(Pte) Ltd.” and “GEBS Australia Pty Ltd”.  All companies are  involved  in  import  and export of quality construction tools & materials architectural components and  construction machinery & equipment.
